ON MY 70TH BIRTHDAY, 5 June 1997

I have such sons as treasure
Cannot buy. Their love
Brings joy into my heart
And soul, singing the life
We’ve lived together through
So many years. In turn
I love each one for all his
Giving and, through all those
Three score years and ten,
I know my life has grown
Through these my loving men.
