CALVARY HOSPITAL, August 1999
Should I meet you, Lord, this day
Be good to me, oh Lord, I pray.
Forgiveness of my sins I need
And ask you duly to pay heed,
For I have always been a sinner,
Excuses have got more and thinner.
Yet I have always had your love
Through that descending fire, your Dove,
A fire that burns in me today
As on my bed I haply lay.
Thank you for your lasting care,
My life is yours to wend and wear.
Because your saving power you give
I have so much for which to live.
